TK-Form Personal Free and Commercial License
Version 1.0 - 2026-07-03

Copyright (c) 2026 Byeong-cheol Kim.

This license applies to TK-Form for VS Code releases after the MIT
legacy boundary commit identified below. This software is source-available, but
it is not open source under the Open Source Definition because commercial and
enterprise use requires a paid license.

1. Definitions

"Software" means TK-Form for VS Code, including its source code,
packaged VSIX artifacts, documentation, examples, images, and generated helper
assets shipped by this repository or release artifacts.

"Personal Use" means use by an individual for personal learning, hobby,
portfolio, non-commercial experimentation, or individual evaluation that is not
performed for a company, organization, employer, client, customer, government
agency, educational institution, or other legal entity.

"Commercial Use" means use by or for a company, organization, employer,
contractor engagement, client project, customer delivery, internal business
tool, paid service, hosted service, training service, government agency,
educational institution, or other legal entity, whether or not that entity
charges money for the resulting work.

"Commercial License" means a separate written license, quote, invoice,
purchase order, or other agreement from the copyright holder that grants
Commercial Use rights.

2. Personal Use Grant

Subject to this license, the copyright holder grants individuals a
non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, royalty-free license to install,
run, copy, modify, and use the Software for Personal Use.

Personal users may share small excerpts, bug reports, screenshots, and
redacted reproduction projects for support or learning purposes, provided that
copyright and license notices are not removed.

Donation is optional. Donating, sponsoring, or not donating does not change the
Personal Use rights granted by this license.

3. Commercial and Enterprise Use

Commercial Use is not granted by this Personal Free License. Commercial Use
requires a paid Commercial License before the Software is used for the
commercial or enterprise purpose.

Examples requiring a Commercial License include, without limitation:

- use by employees, contractors, or teams as part of their work;
- use to create or maintain internal business tools;
- use for client work, consulting, training, or paid services;
- use by companies, schools, universities, non-profits, government agencies, or
  other organizations;
- redistribution, bundling, or hosting of the Software or modified versions for
  others.

An organization may evaluate the Software only under written evaluation terms
provided by the copyright holder or under a Commercial License that includes
evaluation rights.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

- sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially redistribute the Software
  without a Commercial License;
- remove or obscure copyright, license, third-party notice, or legacy MIT
  boundary notices;
- use project names, trademarks, icons, or branding to imply endorsement;
- provide the Software as a hosted or managed service for others without a
  Commercial License;
- use the Software to violate law, third-party rights, or platform terms.

5. Generated Output

Python code generated by the Software from your own project files belongs to
you, subject to any rights you have in those project files and subject to
third-party components you include. This license governs the Software itself,
not the ownership of your generated application code.

6. Third-Party Components

The Software includes third-party dependencies under their own licenses. Those
licenses are documented in ThirdPartyNotices.txt and remain in effect. This
license does not replace or restrict third-party licenses.

7. Legacy MIT Boundary

Code obtained at or before commit
34053e3237455565b6943769f9b74f2778bfec3b remains available under the MIT
License terms that applied to that code. See LICENSE-MIT-LEGACY.md.

This license does not revoke rights already granted under MIT for code that was
received under MIT before the license transition.

8. Termination

If you violate this license, your rights under this license terminate
automatically. Termination does not limit any other remedies available to the
copyright holder.

9. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER WILL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE
SOFTWARE OR THIS LICENSE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.

For Commercial License terms, see COMMERCIAL-LICENSE.md or the written
commercial agreement that applies to your purchase.
